Wee Counts

Early Number Sense. This course is for adults (teachers, parents, caregivers) to use with learners who are learning the concepts of numbers and counting. These skills must be taught so that the learner understands the connections between the real world and the symbols used for the numbers. This is not spraying activities and being cute. This is ensuring the learner "gets it" AND having fun! These skills are often overlooked for their importance. These skills are seen as basic. These skills are assumed to be easily acquired by all. These skills are the pivotal skills needed for all of mathematics. Learning number sense is the key to understanding the world of math. Gifting this opens opportunities for learning and problem solving.
